Lovisa Opportunity:

The HRIS Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Business Analyst (BA) is a subject matter expert in HR processes and the use of HR Information Systems (HRIS), in particular the Peoplesoft Human Capital Management (HCM), in the administration of human resources at Lovisa. The HRIS SME & BA is accountable for analysing and defining requirements and functionality for HR systems and providing system user configuration and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defining, documenting and verifying business functional and non-functional requirements and specifying business process designs to provide the foundation for development of effective business solutions, including gap analysis of HR applications functionality; and partnering with IT service providers, and Lovisa IT to obtain effort and cost estimates.
- Accountable for complex business problem resolution and contributing to business continuous improvement.
- Supporting HR stakeholder groups through the provision of subject matter expertise in HR business processes and the associated HRIS application functions, including core HR / personnel, payroll, recruitment, and integration with other applications and functions.
- Ensuring HR systems meet legislative and policy compliance by monitoring and implementing regulatory requirements and changes.
- Ensuring that HR systems changes/enhancements are appropriately tested, and quality assured by developing, coordinating and participating in user acceptance testing.
- Participating in HRIS upgrades and patching and accountable for the functional review of user acceptance testing of updates.
- Ensuring business users are capable of using the new or modified systems through the provision of business change management and subject matter expertise (SME) in the rollout of end user training and support.
- In collaboration with Lovisa stakeholders and Lovisa IT identifying security requirements and designing, testing and documenting user access solutions compliant with agreed security policy guidelines.
- Supporting the operational efficiency of the HR systems by performing system user configuration and administration, including workflow management.
- Mentoring of other team members to assist them develop their HR System skills and ensure knowledge transfer between each other.
- Providing cross functional team support including backing up the HR Reporting and Systems Analyst by providing security management, data analysis, and developing queries and reports.
- Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself or others.
- Develop change management strategies to ensure successful system adoption by end-users.
- Coordinate training sessions and create training materials for HR teams and other users.
- Act as a champion for HR technology, ensuring that users are equipped to use the system effectively.
Skills, knowledge, and personal qualities required:
- Primary degree / tertiary degree or certification in Information Technology and HR.
- 5+ years of HR systems SME experience (Human Resources Information Systems).
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices, with experience in implementing HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, Oracle HCM).
- Using platforms such as Jira, Smartsheet to track and report on projects/enhancements/initiatives
- Manage and create initiative demand management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, on time, and within budget.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of data cleansing and data requirements.
- Strong experience in managing and executing User Acceptance Testing.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Lean, Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with system security and data privacy laws related to HR technology.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated capacity to communicate clearly and confidently with business end-users and IT functional and technical staff.
- Excellent relationship, facilitation and negotiation skills and a demonstrated track record of working in and fostering a highly motivated team environment.
