Lovisa Opportunity:  
Supports the Business with the maintenance of the Fixed Assets registers and associated month end reporting.

The Assistant Accountant (Fixed Assets) will be responsible for:
• Daily management of Fixed Assets including maintenance of asset classes and effective lives, additions and
disposals
• Updating the schedules which support the Fixed Asset Clearing (WIP) accounts
• Preparing month end journals with appropriate supporting documentation
• Preparing month end general ledger reconciliations
• Ad hoc analysis as required
• Assisting with Audit queries
• Business process improvement
• Providing support and cover for Finance Team, as required
• All other duties as directed by the Company

Lovisa Loves: A can-do attitude with the following skills:
• Bachelor of Commerce/Business or other related discipline
• CA/CPA qualified or studying is preferred
• Understanding of Accounting Standards, regulations and guidelines as they apply to asset accounting
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to analyse financial information
• Experience in the use of finance systems (Oracle would be advantageous)
• Retail accounting experience desirable
