Position purpose and expectation
To ensure that all employees in the region get a good experience during the full employee life cycle, with special attention to managing correct and accurate payments in compensation of their work. Participate in the administration processes in accordance with local
The Role
- Checking and validating inputs for payroll provider
- Preparing reports with outputs from payroll provider
- Establishing controls to establish consistent accuracy of payroll outcomes
- Generating onboarding documentation
- Generate all job related documents for promotion, salary increase, contract changes
- Generate exit documentation, employment certificate, reference letters
- Participate in developing HR policies around schedules, holidays, sick leave, family leave, disability
- Answer queries from employees for HR and payroll operations issues by dedicated Inboxes or other systems (Zendesk or any other similar) in a timely manner
- Keeping accurate and up to date personnel files
- Training the stakeholders on HR-related processes
- Adhere to the set People & Talent KPI’s
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the People Operations Manager or HR Director
To maintain confidentiality of all payroll matters and insure that payroll records are correctly secured at all times ensuring that only authorized personnel can access
Administration
- Ensure punctuality and accuracy of all paperwork
- To ensure reports are submitted in a timely manner to meet required deadlines
- Always ensure adherence to company policies and procedures and continually keep abreast of changes to these as they occur
- To ensure holiday requirements do not impact on company needs and adhere to Lovisa company policy

To be successful in the role you will have
- Enough years of HR/payroll experience to be confident and excellent in the role, with at least half of in payroll related tasks
- Retail payrolls and/or T&A experience desirable
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory requirements
- Excel – Advanced level
- Good mathematical skills
- Windows and other Microsoft office Products
- Good professional level of English
- Hands-on, capable, able to organize the process
Skills, knowledge and personal qualities
- A sound commercial focus.
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Demonstrate effective levels of innovation
- Strong understanding of best practice systems, e.g. Payroll Systems and UKG Dimensions
- Strong desire for disciplined payroll execution and related financial management
- A capacity and desire to support peers in the wider team
- Observe the human resource policies of the Company as varied from time to time
