Role:
The role is strategic in nature and provides leadership to the teams in the EU region. Its focus falls in 5 main strategic priorities.

- Manage cost line in accordance with budgets
- Strategically outline change programmes that ensure year on year cost pressure is mitigated.

- Delight our Retail Customers – COMMMUNICATE & ENCHANCE THE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
- Customers are our stakeholders; retail, property, marketing, piercing, and ecom.
- Transform customer service ensuring DC to Retail flow efficiency is maximised.
- Support store build and roll-out programmes are delivered on time and on budget.
- Obsess over quality, removing rework, waste, and delays.
- Use and develop data tools allowing customers to see the flow of stock in WIP.
- Build World Class B2C Channels – TEAMWORK & CAN DO
- Establish best in class B2C processes within our DCs.
- Transform & challenge online cost to serve both DCs and transport.
- Establish DC-driven B2C options to allow service offering excellence.
- Empower Lean & Visualise the Supply Chain – CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT & DO IT NOW
- Elevate LEAN Boards to ensure service and cost control is visualised.
- Establish Continuous Improvement on key processes via KPI trees.
- Introduce LEAN & SMART factory thinking throughout current processes.
On a Tactical Level, the role will also have oversight on the following.
- LEAN:
- Lead and manage Daily Ops Meeting, Weekly Ops Meetings and Monthly Ops Meetings to visualize concerns and opportunities.
- Recruitment:
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new team members.
- This includes refilling vacancies during the year and the buildup for end of year peak.
- Fresh/Zendesk & Customer Service:
- Ensure the store teams receive excellent support by managing the DC Zendesk queue promptly.
- Promote an excellence in service culture.
- GNFR final mile delivery and coordination is in scope for this role.
- Safety Focus:
- Maintain a well signed warehouse with clearly designated areas of activity. Ensure such demarcations are adhered to.
- Ensure that all personnel adhere to safety procedures and policies.
- Oversee work assignments for new and existing team members. Provide procedural and safety training for warehouse team members with additional emphasis on new team members.
- Preparation and record documentation for team member accidents and incidents.
- Maintain professional engagement with internal and external working relationships (refer influence matrix).
ADMINISTRATION:
- ‘Bridge’ between the Logistics/Warehousing teams and the Business
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Respond promptly and effectively to all customer and trading partner queries.
About you:
Experience in Supply Chain and Operations Management: Proven experience in managing warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain processes, particularly in a multi-regional or global context. Experience in the fashion or retail industry is a plus.
Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, inspire, and develop teams across multiple locations. Experience in leading cross-functional teams to meet performance goals and foster a collaborative environment.
Continuous Improvement Expertise: In-depth understanding of continuous improvement methodologies (such as LEAN, Six Sigma, or Kaizen) with the ability to implement these practices to optimize processes, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
Cost Management & Budgeting: Proven track record in managing cost lines, budgets, and financial forecasting, with an ability to drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high service levels and operational standards.
Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving: Ability to think strategically and tackle complex challenges, while balancing operational and financial goals. Strong analytical skills to identify issues, develop solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
Supply Chain Software & ERP Systems: Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, and tools like Microsoft Office Suite (including MS Teams). Familiarity with Futura Retail Systems, UKG Time Management, and Preceda Payroll is an advantage.
Customer Service & Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills to engage with key stakeholders, including retail, property, marketing, and e-commerce teams. Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and optimize internal communication to improve product flow and fulfillment efficiency.
Change Management: Experience in driving change programs and leading initiatives that challenge the status quo. Ability to identify areas for improvement, initiate projects, and drive transformation across the supply chain.
Safety & Compliance Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of warehouse safety protocols, industry regulations, and best practices. Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with safety policies and create a safe working environment for all team members.
Multinational Coordination: Experience working across multiple time zones and regions (EU, APAC, Americas). Ability to manage and influence teams in different countries, handling challenges related to cultural differences and regional operations.
Project Management: Strong project management skills, including experience in planning, executing, and overseeing complex projects, especially in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management.
Communication & Negotiation Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams, 3PL providers, suppliers, and other business stakeholders. Ability to negotiate effectively, especially in supplier contracts and 3PL agreements.
Innovation & Technology: Familiarity with the latest technologies in logistics and warehouse automation. Experience in utilizing technology to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer service in warehouse operations.
Adaptability & Flexibility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, managing competing priorities while ensuring business continuity and operational excellence.
Fluency in English: Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. Additional languages (particularly in European regions) would be advantageous.
