Your Opportunity:
Located at the DC in Derrimut, Melbourne VIC
The Warehouse Team Leader will play a pivotal role in guiding and inspiring our warehouse personnel to achieve their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This position isn’t just about supervising a team—it’s about setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and empowering individuals to reach their full potential. You will be the go-to person for both daily operations and administrative tasks, ensuring that our warehouse runs smoothly, efficiently, and in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of warehouse staff, ensuring that individual and team KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Hold team members accountable for their performance, providing regular coaching, feedback, and support.
- Coordinate and streamline warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Oversee administrative duties such as scheduling, reporting, and data management.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and safety-oriented work culture.
We are looking for the below skillset and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to influence, motivate, and mentor team members.
- A confident leader who is comfortable holding others accountable, providing feedback, and driving performance improvements.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to handle administrative responsibilities and maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and collaboration across the team.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and basic reporting tools.
