Your Opportunity:
As an Internal Communications Specialist, you will play a crucial role in implementing and executing the internal communication strategies to inform, engage and educate our retail Teams across the world. You will be responsible for creating and delivering compelling content that engages the Lovisa retail Team and strengthens the company’s culture. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure all internal communication is clear, consistent, concise and aligned with Lovisa’s goals and values. Reporting to the Head of Learning & Development, you will represent the L&D and Retail Operations Team in a professional, collaborative and proactive manner, working closely with a multitude of internal departments to ensure clear, consistent, and effective communication across all touchpoints, servicing a diverse, geographically dispersed global audience with variedtranslation and localisation needs.
What you'll be doing:
Communications Strategy:
• Execute communications strategy across newsletters, notices, Freshdesk tickets, emails, and Teams groups.
• Maintain content planners and asset libraries to support global communications and L&D initiatives.
• Review stakeholder requests, gain approvals, and deliver projects on time.
• Monitor engagement metrics and support leadership in crafting key messages.
Translation & Localisation:
• Coordinate translation requests with stakeholders and SmartCat, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Review, proofread, and reformat translated materials.
• Manage translation projects, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Represent L&D professionally across teams and departments.
• Communicate effectively to align on objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content for training and communications.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Administration & Department Support:
• Review and update communications, documents, and training materials.
• Provide administrative support to L&D project leads and Business Partners.
• Organise and maintain documents in DMS, CMS, and LMS/LOLA.
• Assist with conference preparation, content, and logistics.
What skills you bring:
- Experience in internal communications, content creation, or marketing within a fast-paced organisation.
- Excellent written and visual storytelling skills – with strong attention to tone, clarity, and detail.
- Strong stakeholder management and project coordination skills.
- Confidence using digital communication tools (e.g. CANVA, CMS platforms, Teams, SmartCat or similar).
- Exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills – delivering quality work on time and in full.
- A proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach.
- Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic, global retail environment.
- A passion for communication, culture, and creating connection across teams worldwide.
