Your Opportunity:  

This Store Build Project Manager oversees the end-to-end delivery of new store build projects, ensuring programmes, budgets, and quality standards are met across ANZ stores. You will lead contractor management, drive compliance and operational excellence, and take ownership of all stages from fit-out to defects and maintenance. A strong communicator and organiser, you will play a key role in shaping store development outcomes and partnering closely with centres and internal stakeholders. 

  • Lead the development and oversight of the end-to-end store rollout program, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are strategically met across all projects.
  • Project review meetings and site inspections, providing strong leadership to subcontractors and partners to ensure disciplined execution and alignment to the program.
  • Ensure all construction and fit-out works meet design intent and strategic business requirements, while maintaining full compliance with building codes, regulations, and authority standards.
  • Oversee defects management with a high level of accountability, ensuring timely rectification and maintaining quality benchmarks across all stores.
  • Review, validate, and approve subcontractor invoices, variations, and claims, ensuring commercial accuracy and effective cost control.
  • Lead practical and final completion processes, preparing and distributing all required documentation and ensuring handover excellence.
  • Manage the defects liability period, determining maintenance outcomes, overseeing resolutions, and ensuring issues are closed out efficiently.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Shopping Centre and external stakeholders, representing Lovisa. 
  • Support broader development initiatives and strategic projects as directed by the Store Development Manager.


    • We are looking for the below skillset and experience: 

  • Proven experience leading end-to-end fit-out or construction projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong ability to prioritise, manage programs, assess risk and negotiate with stakeholders and contractors.

  • Solid financial acumen with experience overseeing budgets, cost control and project financials.

  • High level of initiative with the ability to work autonomously and drive outcomes.

  • Strong understanding of retail operational concepts and project implementation requirements.

  • Advanced communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional accuracy, planning capability and analytical thinking with a strong sense of urgency.

  • Confident leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage change effectively.
