Your Opportunity:
Working with the store development team, you will be responsible for the design / planning of new and refurbished stores globally. The role will also be responsible for supporting the Design Manager on management / partnership of external architectural partners across the globe to ensure we are delivering. You will be asked to work alongside the Design Manager in evolving our Brand and in-store customer experience.
The Store Designer will be responsible for:
Design Documentation of initial store layouts for internal approvals
Management of drawings package for Landlord to Construction submission
Custom design detailing and construction details as required
Fixture orders & coordination with Procurement team
Supporting the Design Manager on the partnership with external architects / consultants globally
Obtaining and understanding all statutory building compliance requirement
Site RFI’s and amendments to drawings following on site feedback.
Ensure punctuality and accuracy of all paperwork / drawings per project timeframe
Management, reporting & tracking of multiple projects & resources weekly
Consulting with other departments / overseas property team
Maintenance and updating of standard details and templates to support growing markets
Presentation & 3D concepts for externals parties
We are looking for the below skillset and experience:
Retail design / documentation experience
Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in Retail design / architectural sector.
Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a REVIT documentation
Reporting lines up to 5 team members.
Relevant qualifications in architectural documentation, design or drafting
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe programs and Excel
Knowledge of building code in Australia/New Zealand a must
Knowledge of building code in UK, EU & USA highly regarded
Proactive approach to problem resolution
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage confidential information
High attention to detail, solid planning skills and well-developed communication skills
