The role
The Property & Maintenance Coordinator (Africa) is responsible for supporting the delivery of Lovisa’s maintenance and property strategy, ensuring all projects and tasks are completed within set timeframes and budgets.
Coordinate maintenance across all retail stores, ensuring OH&S compliance and brand standards
Manage and monitor maintenance requests via ticketing systems, ensuring agreed SLA turnaround times
Create and issue Work Orders and Purchase Orders for maintenance and property projects
Support and coordinate retail store fit-outs, upgrades and defect management
Source, procure and manage non-stock items as required
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors
Obtain multiple quotes to ensure cost control and best value (CODB)
Maintain accurate trackers, reports, and weekly updates on maintenance activity
Support invoicing processes, approvals, and payments in a timely manner
Assist with planned preventative maintenance schedules and supplier performance tracking
About you
You are highly organised, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. You bring a strong balance of coordination, administration, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in maintenance coordination, facilities, or retail/property environment
Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Proven ability to manage suppliers and negotiate cost-effective solutions
High attention to detail with strong administrative and reporting skills
Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships
Experience using maintenance or ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
Flexible and willing to travel to sites as required
Positive, solutions-focused mindset with high accountability
