The Role
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you'll play a key role in helping the business make smarter, data-driven decisions. Working closely with teams across Retail, Merchandising, Finance and IT, you'll transform complex data into meaningful insights through Power BI dashboards, reporting and analysis. You'll partner with stakeholders to understand their needs, drive the migration from SSRS to Power BI, and deliver innovative data solutions that improve business performance. Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand reporting requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
Design, build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
Support the migration of reporting from SSRS to Power BI while ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Analyse large datasets to identify trends, opportunities and actionable business insights.
Develop and maintain data models, reporting logic and BI solutions using SQL and Power BI.
Champion data quality and governance while continuously improving reporting processes and tools.
Support and educate business users to build confidence in data and reporting capabilities.
About You
3+ years' experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or similar role.
Strong experience with Power BI, SQL and data modelling.
Experience working with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and reporting best practices.
Experience with SSRS, Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS or Azure technologies is highly regarded.
Naturally analytical with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for turning data into meaningful insights.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the business.
Degree qualified in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related discipline.
