Lead Payroll Excellence Across APAC
Are you an experienced payroll professional ready to step into a leadership role? Join Lovisa as our Payroll Operations & Experience Team Leader and help drive payroll excellence across our APAC markets.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll support the Payroll Manager, strengthen team capability, improve payroll processes and ensure our people have a seamless payroll experience.
Your Lovisa Opportunity:
Support the Payroll Manager with the operational leadership of the Payroll team across APAC
Assist with overseeing the end-to-end payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing
Review payroll outputs, exceptions, reconciliations and key controls before finalisation
Coach and develop the Payroll team, building capability and sharing knowledge
Provide trusted payroll advice to managers and team members
Own the employee payroll experience, ensuring enquiries are resolved accurately and within agreed timeframes
Create and maintain payroll FAQs, guides and employee resources
Prepare payroll reports for Operations and key stakeholders
Support month-end activities including leave provisions, reconciliations, reporting and payroll journals
Contribute to payroll system upgrades, testing, configuration and implementation projects
Use payroll data and reporting to identify trends, errors and opportunities for improvement
Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement
About You – What You'll Bring
3–5+ years’ relevant payroll experience
Strong, up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory requirements
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with Dayforce Payroll highly desirable
Experience with Time & Attendance systems, ideally UKG
Retail payroll experience highly desirable
Strong understanding of payroll systems and best-practice processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A strong focus on accuracy, compliance and disciplined payroll execution
A commercial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
A collaborative leadership style and genuine desire to support and develop others
Ability to identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and the employee experience
